How to be interesting without saying a word

Sth. really interesting & of course useful:
How to be interesting without saying a word:

Have you ever looked at someone and just felt that they were an interesting person?
The answer is yes. So listen! :)

There are two aspects to communication: verbal and non-verbal communication.
Here I'm talking about non-verbal communication, also known as body language. If you want to appear attractive, then your body language has the power to communicate that. If you want to appear lazy, boring, or unattractive, then you adjust your body language accordingly and others will immediately begin judging you as lazy, boring, or unattractive. Your body language has the power to influence and communicate what you want – in our case, how to be interesting.

There are 3 simple but powerful body language tricks to make yourself appear more interesting :D but don't forget: You should practice!

1. Gooey Eyes

Eyes have always been important to humans. Without eyes, human communication relies on sounds. Without good eye contact, communication can be destroyed. Excellent eye contact is powerful in giving the message that you are an interesting person.

How?
Look at the person as per normal, but keep the eye contact going a little longer than you normally would. Just before you turn your head down, to the side or to someone else’s eyes to break the eye contact, maintain eye contact for a bit longer by peeling your gooey eyes off the person as you turn your head. Peel your eyes off the person like a sticky toffee being lifted from the surface.

It shows the person you are confident enough to make strong contact. The technique also communicates that the person has something about them that other people do not see!

If you are a guy and want to appear attractive to a lady, make an effort to never look away from her until she loses eye contact with you. Women love slow, meaningful body language.

2. Illuminating Smile

Most of us are well aware of a good smile’s influence, yet many people wonder how a good smile is done.
Seeing only a smile makes you feel better. Likewise, seeing a person frown makes you feel worse. It is a magical brain-to-brain connection that links humans in an almost mystical way. You can make people feel good, make yourself feel good, and make yourself look good by cultivating an illuminating smile.

But how to smile well? If you can build positive emotions inside yourself, a true smile will show on the outside.
After one second of good eye contact with someone, “turn up” your smile. Begin with a little smile, slowly increasing it over two seconds until it becomes a big smile. So, from the initial eye contact to your largest smile will total about three seconds.

3.Capitalizing Posture

A good posture is often associated with being tall, high status, strong confidence, and power. A capitalizing posture will be like buildings in a capital city. This doesn’t mean you need to be like a giant (me :)) to have good posture. Far from it. It is about focusing on being erect and using your posture the best you can. It’s time to put an end to having a posture that is more like The Leaning Tower of Pisa than a strong, stable structure.

All you need to do is lift your chest up. That’s it! Your head will rise, your neck will straighten, your shoulders will drop back, and your back will straighten – all by lifting your chest! This is a capitalizing posture.

somewhere interesting

*Let your guard down; then you'll be more happy. Trust me on this one :)

*I found somewhere! really interesting. Here it is :) No more explanation! :D

*I feel somehow sick when I don't write my blog for a day or too. Some days ago I was talking to Khanoom-e-hamkar & she was coplaining about her life.. That it's not interesting anymore & needs a real change.

I said: Why don't you try anything new? Something LIke reading for example. Look at your days. You wake up, come here, work, sometimes laugh, sometimes get angry, then we go home together most of the time & that's all.
I know sometimes you go shopping with your sisters but you said you don't like parties. Ok, if you don't like them, you are not forced to go to.. but do sth. for yourself. I think you should read sth. everything. Do you think you like it?
The answer was "yes"..

- OK, I'll bring a very amusing book for you - And I took it for her the next day - but there are other good ways. Can you connect to the internet at home?
- Yeah :)

- So, you can have a blog. Just start from writing everything good or bad which has happended to you & see how you'll get more happy & relaxed after it. I've tried it; the result was wonderful. Another good thing is that you'll make friend with some other guys. When you want to be with them, you can write to them or just read their blogs. If you want to be alone, they are not around you anymore in a second. Of course I have some real friends which were strangers to me someday but for most of people who use internet. it's really different. I'm an exception all the time :D

And.. buy sth. new for yourself. Why don't you buy a new modern cellphone? This fossil one is really killing me!
- I'm going to; as I said, I choosed one new model - She loves Nokia cellphones - but Aghaye-Hamkare-Abdarchi has bought it; I won't buy this model anymore :( I should find sth. different.

- His one is red & black. You can buy a blue & balck one.
- Really?

- Yeah. There's nothing wrong about it. Why don't you do so?
- Because they'll be the same again! :( I'll buy sth. different.

- Thank God you didn't buy it before him. You'd kill him or yourself after seeing the cellphone in his hand.. At that moment Aghaye-Hamkare-Abdarchi came in: Maryami?. Can you change my cellphone langiage to Farsi?
I took it; changed the language.
He said: My friend had wanted me to pay him 1000 tomans to do it. Was it difficult?!

Maryami & Dear Cousin

*This noon I want to buy some gifts for Dear cousin to make her happy. It was a big shop full of books, cassetes, toys & everytihng for kids that I haven't entered before to see what they have to sell. I'd always just passed. I want in today...

Walking among that toys & colorful books full of pictures & nold notes, I remembered my childhood & my color pencils, painting books & everything me & my sister had to play with & have fun.

I bought 3-4 books, a puzzle & some pencils.. When I got home called dear uncle to say we were going to the hospital.
He sounded so delighted: I'm taking her home.
I was over the moon. Hospital is hospital! even a smart & clean one. These day when grandma & then dear cousin went to hospital, I feel so odd. When I want to nag about sth. I remember my health & thank God but I nag after it! I won't have a healthy heart this way in 3-4 years. I'll go to heaven to see my ancestors because all of them have had heart attcks except the ones who didn't want others to complain of their long life. So they died! :D

...what's on your mind

*Me: Tell me what's on your mind..
You smile & answer: "Nothing"..

- Sure? You are really different from what you try to seem & I can see this. Aren't you?
- Can you see my mind?

I reply "somehow" but the correct answer is: "I can read your body, especially your eyes. You can keep silent but can't stop looking deep into my eyes. Thta's nough for me to know what's on your mind. You know?
I love your shocked face babe.

*When we make friends, we say to ourselves: "We'll neer get out of touch."... but this happens to us again & again. Sometimes we get in touch with old friends but.. We make new friends & feel happy because of a short message from an old friend.. Absurd?

*Don't move! Don't move! Keep still!

*Do you know why some people smoke? For fun? I can see no fun in such a thing.
Cigarettes do a lot of harm. That's all.

*I'll make a complaint to God & will never get it to him.

XOXO

*Why I can' t learn that when sb talks to me about a bad event in their life, I can say "Hard Luck"?

*There's a reality in my life which I haven't talked about if before!
I never say sth. like "Make yourself at home" to my guests & even if I do so, I don't really mean that. I'm used to behave somehow like a guest even in my grandma's house. I wash the dishes sometimes & do the laundry but I never feel I'm at home!

But I don't like others to have such a feeling & they don't of course! :p
So I'm a nice host & a bad guest. It's somehow odd! I'm somehow odd in fact.

*The more I review my "Elementary Vocabulary" book, the more I notice how forgetful & absent-minded I can be!
Now repeat after me:
When we write XOXO at the end of a letter or note, X means kiss & O means hug! Don't ask me why. I don't know really.

*Do I like to change my job?
well, yes & no! I'm not sure.
Sometimes I think all of us work for getting money & if we had enough money, so we'd have gone to work everyday.
The other pont is that we have'nt got any salary this year aleady!!! So the reason - at least for us - can't be just money.
Thank God all of them have their own houses & aren't hard up.
I'm so gald I have good friend there & I feel free & relaxed more or less & somehow to tell you the truth, I don't want to think about a really nice job with organized work time & good salary! but I don't know why I pretend to from time to time.

You know? I can't stand a formal place full of do's & don'ts!

*I don't want to study on & off anymore. There'll be no break from now on.

*AN! important thing in a reationship is to know your friends' likes & dislikes. You did't talk to me just because you wanted me as a friend & I wanted to know my new friend in return!
I can't understand why you refuse to reply any question about yourself but I want you to know I can't be a friend to a stranger...

An Iranian's Funny Letter

*I've decided decided decided to write here again & don't leave it even for a short time bcz I think it's getting somehow difficult for me to remember words & expressions I knew someday & it's realy killing me.

So I started from reading sth. in english a few days ago which I saw on Zahra's blog. I took "when an iranian writes a letter in english" to the firm. The more I thought, the more I concolued that there's no one exept Mr. Polite & Mr. Talkative who can read the text & laugh to it & because I don't talk to Mr. Talkative that much, I went to Mr. Polite's room with a CD in my hand:

"I have sth. to show u for fun :D Read it now. I wanna see your reaction."
If I was in his shoes. I'd ask what? what is it? what's the matter? what reaction do u mean? but Mr. Polite didn't ask even a simple question, just accepted in silent & started to read.
I was watching his face & his pc's monitor..
At the beginning, he was smiling bcz I was grinning as if it was the first time that I was reading that funny letter but after 1 minute he started laughting. I get happy when he laughs, I don't know why exactly.

You know? Today I was somehow abnormal & everyone was hearing my laughter all day!

Today I read sth. else on Anonymous's blog & laughes a lot:

*God created the donkey and said to him.
"You will be a donkey. You will work un-tiringly from sunrise to sunset carrying burdens on your back. You will eat grass, you will have no intelligence and you will live 50 years."

The donkey answered: "I will be a donkey, but to live 50 years is much. Give me only 20 years."
God granted his wish.

God created the dog and said to him:
"You will guard the house of man. You will be his best Friend.
You will eat the scraps that he gives you and you will live 30 years.
You will be a dog."

The dog answered: "Sir, to live 30 years is too much, give me only 15 years."
God granted his wish.

God created the monkey and said to him:
"You will be a monkey. You will swing from branch to branch doing tricks.
You will be amusing and you will live 20 years. "

The monkey answered: "To live 20 years is too much, give me only 10 years."
God granted his wish.

Finally God created man ... and said to him:
"You will be man, the only rational creature on the face of the earth.

You will use your intelligence to become master over all the animals.
You will dominate the world and you will live 20 years."

Man responded: "Sir, I will be a man but to live only 20 years is very little, give me the 30 years that the donkey refused, the 15 years that the dog did not want and the 10 years the monkey refused."
God granted man's wish.

And since then, man lives 20 years as a man, marries and spends 30 years like a donkey, working and carrying all the burdens on his back.

Then when his children are grown, he lives 15 years like a dog taking care of the house and eating whatever is given to him, so that when he is old, he can retire and live 10 years like a monkey, going from house to house and from one son or daughter to another doing tricks to amuse his grandchildren.

That's Life. Isn't it?

* - Spell laught for me.
Dear sister: L-A-U-G-H

- Doesn't it have a T?
- No! Have u forgot words Maryam?

- hum? eeee, it's been my mistake for years. I don't know why I think laugh has a T! laught!!!! :D

About My Job

*Finally I decided to quit my job! but not right now. First I should get frustrated! :D
First steps are the most difficult ones but after 18 days, I have no problem with my colleagues but it's sometimes too terrible to work with a pc for 8-9 hours a day, without any rest - max 15 min! - without no interest, in a stressful atmosphere.

My buss is really satisfied with my job & wants me not to leave the firm but he thinks of his profits & of course I should do the same for myself. more than 80% of my colleagues do a liitle job per day & I - as a silly one, maybe - kill myself to do my works rapidly & correctly but the problem is lots of works & low salary!

We have no woman in our floor, no plant, no colorful furniture, nothing beautiful there. Just mad men, angry about their checks! argueing with the others!

I like working even a routine one but somewhere more interesting for example in a school not in my current place.
The most annoying point is that when I get home, I'm too tired to study English, translate stories or even look at newspapers. Of course there some good points about my job - it's about 45 mins from home to work & has a good atmosphere - but I don't like it after all, so I don't enjoy it, thus I won't continue it!

The minister of our part suggested me to take his place the other day bcz he is going to America but I said I don't like this job eventhough I do it perfectly & when I told him about leaving my job, he begged me to stay there. He said having a good colleague is sth. we haven't had here! He's right but I don't care.

*Although you didn't help me but I faced it by myself & I'm really satisfied with myself. It made me know have strong I can be & that's precious, isn't it? :)

Going to America

*One of my colleagues is going to America but he hasn't thought about his job & even language! He doesn't know anything!
Somedays ago he asked me some questions about English & I said it has lots of vocabs but you can learn it easily if you can. At first it'll be difficult a little but after some months you'll learn more & more easily. You should just give it a try.

He asked me if I can speak it fluently?
I said no!
I think I can understood myself but I don't want him to ask me teach him. So I said no.

Mother / Monster - in - law

*If you say I'm happy, I'm happy, I'm happy we'll be happy but if you think you're sad, you're upset & everything is really terrible, I'll kill you! So try not to think about bad events or disgusting people.
